The Bona PowerDrive is a unique drive plate with four driven sanding discs for
\nunsurpassed powerful rotary sanding of timber floors. Mounted on the Bona
\nFlexiSand 1.9, it is capable of sanding timber floors to a smooth even finish
\nusing Bona Abrasives, such as the 8700 Ceramic series, and replaces the
\nneed for conventional belt sanding in many instances. As with all Bona
\nsanding machines the sanding discs are easily fixed to the PowerDrive using
\nthe Velcro system.
\nThe advantages of rotary sanding are the simplicity of use and minimized
\nneed for edge sanding while delivering excellent sanding results; with the
\nBona Power Drive there is only a 3 cm band left around the floor which needs
\nto be sanded with an edger. The drive plate is easy to manoeuvre in small,
\nconfined spaces, such as corridors or around kitchen benches, and can be
\nused independent of the direction of the wood.
\nThe Bona Power Drive can also be used with the Bona Wire Brush system to
\nopen the wood grain, enhance the beauty of the floor and create a unique
